GET YOUR ROLL ON
In 2011, seven Loyola graduates sought to enhance Carnival by creating a unique parade favoring local vendors and craftspeople. Members hand-decorate Mardi Gras Masks as coveted signature throws. The Krewe of Freret values quality keepsakes.
The Krewe of Freret was established in New Orleans, Louisiana to support local industry, conduct service events, and preserve the Mardi Gras tradition. The Krewe, since inception, has supported the local music scene with events like Eat Street and Summer Strut, in addition to their black tie ball.
